Bonk Choy Posted on August 8, 2014 by papervszombies Rapidly punches enemies ahead or behind This little dude is one of my favorites. It took a while for me to get the top of his head just right, but I think I’m finally satisfied with it. Enjoy! Bonk Choy (pdf) Bonk Choy with numbered edges (pdf) Steps: Start from the bottom. It’s easier. Make sure the eyes line up with the previous row. The eyes should bulge out a bit (check the numbered edges pdf to reference fold lines). At this point, the head splits into 4 separate leaves/pieces. Cut off the dark green parts to form scalloped edges. Attach the side leaves first. The front and back leaves should go last. they will overlap the sides. For the arms, start with the base. Then attach the rectangular flat pieces. Make sure the lighter piece with the line down the middle is on the outside. Use a pen to curl up the leaves. Glue the darker piece to the inside. You can cut a cleft in the leaves to match the original art. Attach the arms to the bottom. Note the larger arm goes on the left. I didn’t bother making the inside of his head double-sided, but if you want to, print a copy of the 2nd page and glue the pieces on the inside.
