Stem & Leaves (Base for Sunflower, Peashooter, and SnowPea)

This is probably the most annoying model to put together… After you’ve made 3 of these you’re going to hate leaves 😛

The stem is pretty easy to assemble. For each of the four leaves, you’ll need to cut out front and back then paste them together. Make sure that they line up since front and back are slightly different. I recommend that you wait until after you’ve glued both sides before cutting the leaf outline.

Once you have all four leaves, you can glue them to the bottom of the stem as in the photo. Since the leaves are double-sided, they should be strong enough to support the weight of the Sunflower/Peashooter/SnowPea head. If you don’t want to go through the trouble of cutting both sides, you can try using a paperclip+penny to add weight and stability.
